“My vision for the world: a place full of people whose home fosters community”
After decades of working in commercial real estate development and financing, Laura Bachman decided to strike out on her own. Laura knows every facet of the development process, from project acquisition to marketing and lease-up, and she has worked in property financing, real estate investment, and hands-on project management across the city.
Every neighborhood in Seattle features at least one project on which Laura has worked, and she has been an engaged Seattle resident since 1987. Her passion is evident in every project she touches, and she is well-respected in the commercial real estate industry for her leadership and her talent.

Inspiring the next generation of leaders
As a longtime former YMCA Board Member, Laura now organizes Mt Rainier climbing expeditions, which raise scholarships for participants in the YMCA’s BOLD/GOLD youth programs.
“Whether I am creating the perfect chocolate truffle or an apartment project, I am passionate about starting with multiple raw ingredients and ending up with a delicious useful result”
Laura also brings passion to her life outside the office
When not busy with commercial building, she competes in squash tournaments nationwide, she’s a Paris-trained pastry chef, and after learning the lindy hop during Plymouth Housing Group’s Seattle Dances! competition, she is an active member of the swing dance community.
